The regatta on the Drina river in Ljubovija is tradition for over a decade. The pioneers of this event
descended the first time the Drina river on the second Saturday of July in 2001. The event consisted of
only a few boats in the first year, but year after year the number grew to more than 1 000 boats and
vessels and over 20 000 participants in the water.
The event is traditionally held on the second Saturday of July.
