LJUBOVIJA AT THE 46TH INTERNATIONAL TOURISM FAIR

From February 20 to 23, the 46th International Tourism Fair will be held in Belgrade, this year under the slogan "One map, countless worlds". Among more than 400 domestic and foreign exhibitors at the Fair, the tourism offer is also presented by the municipality of Ljubovija at the joint stand of the Tourism organization of the region of Western Serbia.
On Friday, a special program by the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Ljubovija was performed at the stand presented the tourist offer of Ljubovija to the visitors of the fair. After the welcoming speech of Ivana Smiljanić, director of the Tourist Organization, member Jovica Radović of the hiking club "Tornička Bobija" led the visitors through a short trip along the Drina, Trešnjica Canyon, Bobija, to churches and monasteries and other tourist sites on the territory of Azbukovica.

The youth association "Krivotorbići" prepared a knowledge quiz for the visitors, which aroused great interest. In addition, all days The fair also shows great interest in the prize game "Wheel of Fortune", which is located at the stand of the Western Serbia region, where participants have the opportunity to win one of the many prizes.

Director of the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Ljubovija Ivana Smiljanić said that the Tourist Organization promotes the Days of the Drina Regatta Ljubovija, the Gastro Festival, mountain tourism at the Tourism Fair. and Bobija Mountain, sports and recreational tourism and religious tourism, as well as accommodation facilities in Ljubovija.
- Drina attracts the most our tourists because of its emerald green color. Rafting and fishing enthusiasts come to us on the Drina. We must not forget and our mountain Bobija, whose highest peak is Tornička Bobija at 1272 meters above sea level and is a great magnet for all tourists who love hiking, mountaineering, cycling, clean air and staying in untouched nature - says Ivana Smiljanić.

On Friday, the stand of the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Ljubovija was visited by the President of the Municipality, Milan Jovanović. He says that Ljubovija is like a small municipality needs additional content in order to be able to attract tourists for a longer period of time, and for this reason the cooperation with Tourism organization of the region of Western Serbia.
- As every year, we are again at the Tourism Fair and we have talked about it on several occasions tourism is something in which we see the development of our municipality and we are regular exhibitors here, and this year for the first time we are performing as a region of Western Serbia. Signed we have a contract with the region of Western Serbia and we knew the potential that in a joint performance we could reach our future guests much sooner and that in this way we will present ourselves much better with the tourist offer of our municipality - said President Milan Jovanović.
